Miracles at the Gospel Truth Seminar ...Jeremy Flanagan

I served as a prayer minister at the recent Chicago Gospel Truth Seminar (put on by Andrew Wommack Ministries). This meant I was one of the many ministers that would pray with people at the end of the sessions.

I saw two instantaneous healings, praise God! The first was a woman, Judy, who hadn't been able to breathe through her nose or smell anything for years. She said that polyps had formed in her nasal cavity, and this was a big part of the problem (especially regarding her ability to breathe). I told her that I was going to pray for her instantaneous healing. I said that this was no problem for God and asked if she could believe for this. She said YES!

So we prayed. It was a simple prayer. I thanked the Lord that he gave us power over all the power of the enemy, and that included these polyps. I rebuked them, told them to disappear in the name of Jesus. That was it. Then I told her to start breathing deeply--and she did. Immediately, she began laughing and blurted, "I can breathe! I can breathe! I haven't been able to breathe like this in years!"

Then I asked her about her sense of smell. She said she didn't know if there was anything TO smell. So my friend Jana (another prayer minister) brought her a candy. Judy popped in her mouth and I continued praying for her, my hands still resting on her shoulders. After just a moment or two, she began to laugh again. "It's butterscotch! It's butterscotch! Oh, I can taste it! And I can SMELL it! I can smell!" Judy just received a manifestation of God's will for us to proper (physically), even as our souls prosper.

The second miracle was of pain that a gentleman had lived with in his (ahem) buttock for years, ever since an on-the-job accident. Before praying for the healing, the Lord showed me that this man needed ministry to his heart. So I talked to him about God's love; about how as we live in this life, we can accumulate wounds that incapacitate our hearts in certain ways. I told him that God wants to heal the heart pains just as he wants to heal the physical pains.

Finally, I felt the go-ahead to pray. Again, it was a simple prayer. I thanked the Lord that Jesus bore our pains away on the cross, and that pain has no right to reside in us any more. Then I rebuked the pain in the authority of Jesus' name. Then I instructed the gentleman to begin to move, to see what the status was. For quite a while, he bent and twisted and turned. Then he looked up at me, almost confused. "It's gone. The pain is gone." It was like it just didn't compute for him. He'd lived with the pain for so long, that it took a moment for him to actually believe it was gone. We talked for another 10 or 15 minutes about his desire to attend Bible college. The pain stayed gone, glory to Jesus!
